Posted October 21, 2019. it would be amazing if our glasses would work on being short sighted, of course they'd need a higher chance of breaking and a higher chance of becoming dirty, preventing them from helping until cleaned/repaired. grammarsalad and ZombiesLoveBrainiacs. I can't remember playing without the penalty for short-sighted. It seems to be very manageable compared to traits like bad hearing, deaf or obese. That would be a nice free point trait to take and everybody would take it. There are tons of glasses all over the place in game. Easy to counter the negative.
Help! I think it increases your chances of finding better loot: weapons, ammo maybe food and clothing. yeah, this trait increases it by 10%, you can download mod named More Description for Traits and check there. Wiki says : "+10% chance of finding rare loot. -5% chance of failing item repairs.Short Sighted decreases your foraging radius, but this issue can be solved by using glasses when scavenging. So literally in the last 20 minutes or so I've opened up a window, peered in and saw nothing, only to jump through the window to be confronted by 1 or several zombies literally 3 feet from the window.
